We are a gang of 7 members , went from Bangalore to Wayanad in the mid of May month, So the whether was a bit hot . We took the Root from Mysore to Nagarhole Forst to Wayanad .
We started Started late in night from bangalore , around 2 am , we reached the Nagarhole Forest by 6 am. The route was a bit adventures , having some wild animal Threats and narrow edges. There we went for a jungle safari to see the wild animals . But the safari was so boring and we hardly have seen any wild animals except for lot of Deers and couple of elephants . But let me suggest do you not to go for this safari as we felt its a waste of 100 rs .
Then at around 8 am we reached the border of Kerala , we had our Breakfast and we we headed to our first Destination. KAVURU ISLAND . Its an its a scenic place with a river and few islands. There are lot of places to take Pics and and finally we found a place where we can jump into the river and swim.
After this destination we went to the nearest town Mahadevapra and had our lunch. So it was 4pm . So we went to a lake and done some boating there . It was nice .
Then we took the Day off and we stayed at a Home Stay of 2 bedrooms for rs 1000 , that was quiet cheep . So u can look for home Stays if u want to make it Cheep or u have lot of resorts and Hotels also.
Next day morning @ 9 we reached our next destination , Edakkal Caves , Its a great trekking spot , where in in the middle u can find some Caves and after that there is a steepy hill to Climb . It was a breath taking Experience climbing that hill as there is no security. But is a paradise for Adventure Lovers .
So as we survived from there :) , we went to Manmutty water Falls which is Huge a Vally . We have to get down to see the falls . It was another adventure doing that , and after getting down we have played in the water and were so tired to climb the hill again. but some how we managed to do that.
There were other Hills and Falls @ the place but our 2 days were over . So we returned bangalore after that place @ around 2 am we reached bangalore.
Wayand is a paradise for Treckers and Adventure lovers .And kerala Is beautiful withe its Greenery. Every Spot u see is worth taking a snap.
